I guess because it is a small local restaurant, the service is not one that Americans usually like. When we arrived, the Then there was a long wait to be able to order wine, water or food. There was a soccer game on the TV that had the attention of the staff which probably caused a too long wait to order.

When asked about the vegetable antipasto, the waitress said it would be Euro, not sure what that meant but it was definitely worth 10 Euro. Our main meals, pastas and meats, were universally well received. The price was reasonable but it took an inordinate time to get the bill. I would definitely return as this is a five star place with some improvements to timeliness of service.

Top quality authentic fresh Italian cooking! The fish is excellent. Oil lamps are a form of lightingand were used as an alternative to candles before the use of electric lights. Starting inthe Argand lamp quickly replaced other oil lamps still in their basic ancient form. These in turn were replaced by the kerosene lamp in about In small towns and rural areas the latter continued in use well into the 20th century, until such areas were finally electrified and light bulbs could be used. Sources of fuel for oil lamps include a wide variety of plants such as nuts walnutsalmonds and seeds sesameolivecastoror flax.

Also widely used were animal fats butter, fish oil, shark liverwhale blubberor seal. Camphinea blend of turpentine and ethanolwas the first "burning fluid" fuel for lamps after whale oil supplies were depleted. It was replaced by kerosene after the US Congress enacted excise taxes on alcohol to pay for the Civil War.

Most modern lamps such as fueled lanterns have been replaced by gas-based or petroleum-based fuels to operate when emergency non-electric light is required. Therefore, oil lamps of today are primarily used for the particular ambience they produce. The following are the main external parts of a terra-cotta lamp:. Typologically, lamps of the Ancient Mediterranean can be divided into seven major categories:. Lamps appear in the Torah and other Jewish sources as a symbol of "lighting" the way for the righteous, the wise, and for love and other positive values. While fire was often described as being destructive, light was given a positive spiritual meaning.

The oil lamp and its light were important household items, and this may explain their symbolism.

Oil lamps were used for many spiritual rituals. The oil lamp and its light also became important ritualistic articles with the further development of Jewish culture and religion. The Temple Menoraha ritual seven-branched oil lamp used in the Second Templeforms the centre of the Chanukah story.

Since its creation, the LAMP model has been adapted to other componentry, though typically consisting of free and open-source software. The modularity of a LAMP stack may vary, but this particular software combination has become popular because it is sufficient to host a wide variety of website frameworks, such as JoomlaWordPress and Drupal.

The components of the LAMP stack are present in the software repositories of most Linux distributions. The LAMP bundle can be combined with many other free and open-source software packages, such as the following:. As another example, the software which Wikipedia and other Wikimedia Foundation projects use for their underlying infrastructure is a customized LAMP stack with additions such as Linux Virtual Server LVS for load balancing and Ceph and Swift for distributed object storages.

With the growing use of the archetypal LAMP, variations and retronyms appeared for other combinations of operating system, web server, database, and software language. The web server or database management system also varies. Linux is a Unix-like computer operating system assembled under the model of free and open-source software development and distribution.

Most Linux distributionsas collections of software based around the Linux kernel and often around a package management systemprovide complete LAMP setups through their packages.

According to W3Techs in October The role of LAMP's web server has been traditionally supplied by Apache, and has since included other web servers such as Nginx. In JuneNetcraft estimated that Apache served Apache is developed and maintained by an open community of developers under the auspices of the Apache Software Foundation. Released under the Apache LicenseApache is open-source software.

A wide variety of features are supported, and many of them are implemented as compiled modules which extend the core functionality of Apache. These can range from server-side programming language support to authentication schemes.

MongoDB is a web-scale open-source NoSQL database that eschews the traditional table-based relational database structure in favor of JSON -like documents with dynamic schemas calling the format BSONmaking the integration of data in certain types of applications easier and faster. PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development but also used as a general-purpose programming language. PHP code is interpreted by a web server via a PHP processor module, which generates the resulting web page.

PHP commands can optionally be embedded directly into an HTML source document rather than calling an external file to process data. It has also evolved to include a command-line interface capability and can be used in standalone graphical applications. Perl is a family of high-levelgeneral-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming languages.

The languages in this family include Perl 5 and Raku. Perl 5 gained widespread popularity in the late s as a CGI scripting language for the Web, in part due to its parsing abilities. Python is a widely used general-purpose, high-level, interpretedprogramming language.

It features a dynamic type system, automatic memory managementa standard libraryand strict use of whitespace. Specific solutions are required for websites that serve large numbers of requests, or provide services that demand high uptime. You may have included TensorFlow Ops in your computation graph that were useful primarily in the context of training.

Once you've trained your model, you can remove those ops from your graph before exporting your final version.

Much of the advice given in the training application development page is aimed at the prediction experience. In some cases those are changes that you make to your model when the bulk of your training is done and you're ready to start deploying versions.

You can send new data to your deployed model versions to get predictions. The following sections describe important prediction considerations. Cloud ML Engine provides two ways to get predictions from trained models: online prediction (sometimes called HTTP prediction), and batch prediction. In both cases, you pass input data to a cloud-hosted machine-learning model and get inferences for each data instance.

The differences are shown in the following table:The needs of your application dictate the type of prediction you should use. You should generally use online prediction when you are making requests in response to application input or in other situations where timely inference is needed. Batch prediction is ideal for processing accumulated data when you don't need immediate results. For example a periodic job that gets predictions for all data collected since the last job.

You should also inform your decision with the potential differences in prediction costs. If you use a simple model and a small set of input instances, you'll find that there is a considerable difference between how long it takes to finish identical prediction requests using online versus batch prediction. It might take a batch job several minutes to complete predictions that are returned almost instantly by an online request.

This is a side-effect of the different infrastructure used by the two methods of prediction. Cloud ML Engine allocates and initializes resources for a batch prediction job when you send the request. Online prediction is typically ready to process at the time of request. Cloud ML Engine measures the amount of processing you consume for prediction in node hours. This section describes these nodes and how they are allocated for the different types of prediction.

It's easiest to think of a node as a virtual machine (VM), even though they are implemented with a different mechanism than a traditional VM. Each node is provisioned with a set amount of processing power and memory. It also has an operating system image and a set configuration of software needed to run your model to get predictions.

Both online and batch prediction run your node with distributed processing, so a given request or job can use multiple nodes simultaneously. You are charged for total node usage by the minute, using an hourly rate. For example, running two nodes for ten minutes is charged the same as running one node for twenty minutes.

Online and batch prediction allocate nodes differently, which can have a substantial effect on what you will be charged. The batch prediction service scales the number of nodes it uses to minimize the amount of elapsed time your job takes. To do that, the service:Scales the number of nodes during the job in an attempt to optimize efficiency.
